Position: Sales Training & Development Manager – Consumer Bank

• Location: Mumbai

• Function: Consumer Banking – Learning & Development / Sales Enablement

• Grade: (As per internal banding)

• Reporting to: Outbound Head / Training Manager (Consumer Bank)

• Department: Credit Card-Marketing HO

Grade: M1 to M3

Key Responsibilities

• Sales:
  Deliver structured induction programs for new sales hires (CASA, Loans, Credit Cards) to ensure faster readiness and productivity

• Sales Training Delivery:
  Conduct training on sales techniques, product knowledge, objection handling, and customer engagement

• Capability Building:
  Drive initiatives to enhance selling skills, cross-sell/upsell capabilities, and customer-centric selling approaches

• Product & Compliance Training:
  Ensure sales teams are aligned on product updates, policies, and regulatory requirements (RBI guidelines)

• Performance Enhancement:
  Analyze sales MIS to identify gaps and conduct targeted refresher training for low performers

• Field Coaching:
  Provide on-ground coaching and support to sales teams through field visits and joint calls

• Content Development:
  Create training modules, sales playbooks, scripts, and digital learning content

• Stakeholder Management:
  Collaborate with Sales Heads, HR, Product, and Compliance teams to align training with business needs

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum

5+ years of experience

in Banking/NBFC Sales or Sales Training

• Prior experience in

Consumer Banking or Credit Cards

preferred

• Strong understanding of

sales processes and frontline challenges

• Proven track record in improving sales performance or enabling teams
