Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a passionate Java Developer with 3–5 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, experience with modern frameworks, and the ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Develop RESTful services and APIs for web and mobile applications
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other teams to integrate user-facing elements
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Participate in system design discussions and architecture decisions
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver tasks within timelines

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP principles, and design patterns
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot / Spring MVC / Hibernate
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and SQL
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of multithreading, collections, and concurrency
• Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Nice to Have:

• Experience with DevOps practices
• Knowledge of security standards and best practices
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
• Prior experience in enterprise-level applications

• Base location: Pune
• This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
