The role involves managing supply chain operations with emphasis on Import/Export Compliance and regulatory requirements. Collaboration with manufacturers, logistics providers, carriers, repair vendors, customs authorities, and legal teams ensures efficient workflows.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborating with Akamai Legal and Compliance to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements for Supply Chain and Logistics operations.
• Developing and improving import and export compliance processes, procedures, and controls.
• Determining export authorization requirements and preparing required licenses, license exceptions, supporting documentation, and compliance records.
• Maintaining accurate product classifications, including HTS, Schedule B, and ECCN, and ensuring classification records are complete, current, and auditable.
• Conducting compliance audits, determining import/export controls, delivering export compliance training, and developing KPIs to measure trade compliance performance.
• Overseeing daily operations and performance for Supply Chain providers while supporting senior analysts and Project Managers on selected projects.
• Developing and maintaining a thorough technical understanding of products used across Akamai's deployed network while identifying opportunities for automation and standardization.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Demonstrate experience in international trade compliance, including U.S. import and export regulations, HTS and ECCN classification, export controls, licensing requirements, customs documentation.
• Collaborate across teams with Logistics, Planning, Design, and Engineering to align strategies, guide distribution decisions, and address regulatory requirements effectively.
• Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics providers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to regulations in global shipping activities.
• Demonstrate analytical and data management skills, including advanced Excel proficiency and experience maintaining accurate compliance data in ERP, classification, or document management systems.
• Exhibit communication skills in writing and speaking, including technical correspondence with agencies, while collaborating effectively in a global environment.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, organization, and capacity to negotiate while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
