Sr. React Native Developer

• Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior React Native Developer

with a strong understanding of

Shopify ecosystem and API integrations

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance mobile applications that integrate seamlessly with Shopify stores. You will work closely with the backend, design, and Shopify teams to deliver robust and scalable mobile app solutions.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain

cross-platform mobile applications

using

React Native

for iOS and Android.

• Build and integrate

Shopify APIs, Storefront APIs, and webhooks

within mobile apps.

• Collaborate with Shopify and backend teams to ensure smooth data synchronization and API communication.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and architecture guidelines.

• Optimize mobile applications for

performance, scalability, and user experience

.

• Debug and troubleshoot application issues across various devices and OS versions.

• Manage app builds, deployments, and version control (App Store, Play Store).

• Work closely with the UI/UX team to implement pixel-perfect designs and smooth animations.

• Participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, and code reviews.

• Stay updated with the latest mobile development and Shopify technologies.

Requirements

• Required Skills & Qualifications:

4 to 5 years

of hands-on experience in

React Native

app development.

• Strong understanding of

Shopify APIs

, webhooks, and app integrations.

• Proficiency in

JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React Hooks

.

• Experience in

RESTful APIs, third-party integrations

, and real-time data handling.

• Knowledge of

native modules

for iOS and Android (Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C).

• Experience with

state management libraries

(Redux, Context API, or MobX).

• Familiarity with

version control (Git)

and Agile development workflows.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in publishing and maintaining mobile apps on

App Store

and

Google Play Store

.

• Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with

Shopify Mobile SDK

or

Shopify Hydrogen/Storefront API

.

• Knowledge of

GraphQL

for Shopify data management.

• Exposure to

CI/CD tools

(Bitrise, App Center, Fastlane).

• Familiarity with

Firebase

, push notifications, and analytics tools.

• Basic understanding of

Shopify Liquid

, custom apps, and ecommerce workflows.
