Sr. Executive - Trade Br. Ops| Thiruvananthapuram

Job Description

To support payment, trade and forex operations through review and evaluation of transaction activities, assessment of operational controls, identification of process exceptions and monitoring of regulatory compliance requirements. The role provides analytical inputs to support risk mitigation, service quality and operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain First Time Right (FTR) status in all documents submitted to centralized operations.
• Provide proactive service to customers, addressing forex-related queries.
• Attend RBI, internal, concurrent, and external audits; ensure timely rectification of observations.
• Conduct KYC verification and customer due diligence for all forex transactions.
• Complete EDPMS/IDPMS entries accurately and within timelines.
• Ensure proper disposal of BRCs, duty drawback, interest subvention, ECGC premium, TCS, and other statutory dues.
• Share market updates and views with clients to support decision-making.
• Support mapped branches (C Category) in trade operations and credit limit processing.
• Participate in joint customer visits with branch heads or sales teams.
• Stay updated on AML/KYC/RBI guidelines and trade finance regulations.
• Complete mandatory e-learning and capacity-building courses (IIBF certification preferred).
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team.

Qualifications

Experience Range: 3 to 5 years in trade finance or branch trade operations.

Qualifications:

Graduate/ Post‑Graduate (any specialization preferred).

Certifications: IIBF certification desirable.
