Position: Senior Python Backend Engineer
Location: India Remote - Lucknow or Nagpur preferred
Experience: 8+ Years
Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Backend Python Engineer to build and lead core backend services for a highly scalable, data-intensive platform.
Key Responsibilities :
Design and own scalable backend & computation services.
Build configuration-driven and reusable systems.
Develop complex SQL queries and efficient data models.
Ensure systems are accurate, reliable, reproducible, and auditable.
Work on multi-tenant, multi-cloud, and customer-hosted environments.
Drive architecture, code reviews, technical decisions, and mentor engineers.
Collaborate with Data, AI, and Product teams.
Required Skills :
8+ years of backend engineering experience.
Strong backend engineering experience with Python, FastAPI and Bash.
Excellent SQL & data modeling skills.
Strong system design, scalability, and performance expertise.
Experience with configuration-driven/rules-based architectures.
Strong focus on quality, testing, and system reliability.
Good to Have :
Snowflake | PostgreSQL | dbt | Docker | Kubernetes | Terraform | AI/ML | Finance/Accounting
