XenTegra is looking for a Solutions Architect to join our Modern Applications practice. You'll be the technical expert working alongside our sales team, helping customers modernize their applications and get the most out of cloud platforms. You'll qualify opportunities, gather business and technical requirements, design the right solution, and write scoped Statements of Work. You'll lead solution presentations and demos that tie the technology to real business results. You'll also look for chances to bring new solutions into customer accounts or grow what they already use, and make sure each deal hands off smoothly to our delivery and customer success teams. Beyond sales support, you'll represent XenTegra at webinars, podcasts, marketing events, and local user groups. This is a remote role with occasional travel to client sites and events. Support field sales efforts by performing technical qualifications and solutions consulting for prospects, collecting business and technical requirements, and aligning proper solutions for customer needs including the creation of scoped Statements of Work (SOW) documents.
Act as a technical subject matter expert by continuously learning products and solutions within the practice area and using that expertise to provide real-time expert guidance to customers.
Deliver compelling solutions presentations using creative thinking and technical understanding to present solution overviews to prospects and customers.
Assist sales teams with identifying opportunities in customer accounts for both new solutions and expansion of existing technologies, providing recommendations and aligning potential solutions to customer problems.
Provide insight as work transitions from pre-sales to delivery and customer success teams within XenTegra.
Participate in marketing events, webinars, podcasts, and demo sessions.
Experience in a pre-sales, solutions architect, or technical consulting role supporting a sales team
A strong technical background in modern application platforms, such as cloud-native development, containers, and hyperscale cloud providers (ServiceNow, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions and scoped SOWs
A confident presenter who can explain complex technology to both technical and executive audiences
Self-managed and proactive, with a creative approach when you hit a roadblock
A commitment to continuous learning and staying current in your practice area
Willingness to travel occasionally for client visits and marketing events
