Software QA Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software, identifying bugs, and working closely with developers to deliver high-quality products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts
• Perform manual and/or automated testing on web and mobile applications
• Identify bugs document issues and track them using appropriate tools
• Work closely with developers to resolve defects and improve overall product performance
• Conduct functional testing regression testing integration testing and performance testing
• Ensure that applications meet both business requirements and technical specifications
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective
• Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing to confirm issue resolution
• Maintain proper documentation of test cases test results and reports
• Collaborate with product and development teams to support timely and high-quality releases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
• Proven experience as a Software QA Engineer or Software Tester
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies tools and processes
• Hands-on experience in manual testing and basic knowledge of automation testing
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript Python or Java
• Understanding of API testing and experience using tools like Postman
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
• High attention to detail and ability to manage tasks within deadlines
