Join the Cisco Secure Access team building the Cisco AI Agent Gateway, a distributed, highly available platform that enables AI agents to securely connect to MCP servers, LLM providers, and enterprise tool APIs. We combine distributed systems, network security, proxy, cloud, and AI expertise to deliver identity-aware access, policy enforcement, observability, and auditability at scale.
As a Software Engineering Technical Leader, you will set technical direction and own the Agent Gateway end to end, from ideation and architecture through Golang development, cloud deployment, production operations, and customer support. You will lead a team, solve complex distributed-system and networking problems, and deliver secure, highly available services.
, including at least 4 years leading an engineering team or providing technical leadership for production services.
and system-design experience for scalable distributed services, including concurrency, APIs, retries, timeouts, backpressure, idempotency, caching, and failure recovery.
including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS/mTLS, HTTP, HTTP/2, gRPC, load balancing, and troubleshooting.
