Engineer – EDI Implementation Specialist

Role Summary

The EDI Implementation Specialist will support customer and implementation activities on the OpenText platform, ensuring new trading partners are configured, tested, and go-live ready in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end EDI for new customers/trading partners on the OpenText platform
• Configure and test EDI maps, transaction sets, and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN, etc.)
• Validate data mapping and transaction flows against customer and business requirements
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate complex problems as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, test results, and status
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, customer service, IT) to ensure smooth go-lives
• Follow established implementation processes and contribute suggestions for process improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–4 years of experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and implementation
• Good understanding with EDI/B2B integration platforms (OpenText, SEEBURGER, or similar) preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
