• Profile Overview:
  Software Development Engineer in Test is a key role at TravClan. With time we have focussed a lot on the speed of building products and now that we are doing 10’s of millions of rupees in transactions in a day we cannot let poor experience creep in at any stage for our users, which are both internal and external. The Software Development Engineer in Test in their capacity are going to be the Champions and Custodians of experience for all of our products. As part of this team they will be working on building and executing a comprehensive test strategy and will act as gatekeepers of everything that is shipped to our users. Our natural focus is going to be on automating all aspects of our product testing for our internal ERP systems and our more customer facing product lines. The Test Engineers stand to gain because they get to work in a fast paced environment and work with the best Engineering and Product leadership teams in the Indian Startup Ecosystem. They also stand to become Travel Tech SMEs over a period of time, while automating our entire test cycle from the get go.

• What we are looking for: Must have Technical Skills:

• Should possess amazing testing skills and demonstrate inherent ability to break systems and products
• Willing to take responsibility to build, execute, report and validate fixes to ensure smooth releases
• Perform regression testing, feature testing and sprint testing
• Ability to work with postman collections and test RESTFul APIs jsons
• Work very closely with all stakeholders to define acceptance criteria
• Deep understanding of TDD philosophy
• Ability to work in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment

• Good to Have:

• Worked on multiple automation frameworks like selenium, appium, postman test scripts, Espresso, JMeter, mockito to build an ecosystem level test framework and automate the regression test suite
• Work closely with dev teams to build test data, mock jsons, etc.
• Proven ability to automate testing of microservices, SOA platforms, frontend web and mobile Apps comprehensively

• Check if you fit in the Role: You Must:

• Have 2-4 years of experience as QA Analyst
• Be driven by releasing bug-free products.
• Be willing to dive deep into systems logic and devise a test plan and write test cases and break the products many times over.
• Release and test products within tight timelines.
• Be methodical and logical in your approach to test the systems.

• You can:

• Understand testing frameworks like pytest, junit, node tests, javascript, python and MySQL
• Work in a fast paced environment

• You want to:

• Help us in delivering best products for B2B Travel Business
• To work in automation and build an automation framework

• This role is not ideal for someone who:

• Has not worked on testing

2-3 enterprise product.

• Has not worked on single product for at least

10-12 months

• Is not comfortable with

long working hours.

• Is not comfortable

working 5 days a week from office in Delhi.

• The Recruitment Process:

• Aptitude Test: Every shortlisted candidate initially needs to appear for a-hour aptitude test. The aptitude test consists of some basic math aptitude problems, descriptive questions, and some technical questions.

• Personal Interviews: 3 detailed Interview Rounds
