This role is essential for delivering seamless e-commerce experiences and contributing to the organization’s goals through expert implementation of Shopify functionalities. ## Responsibilities - Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores. - Build responsive, high-performance storefronts using Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks where required. - Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive Shopify themes. - Customize existing themes and develop custom Shopify sections, templates, and components. - Integrate third-party apps, APIs, payment gateways, and shipping solutions. - Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and page load speed. - Implement Shopify best practices for accessibility, usability, and responsive design. - Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and compatibility problems across browsers and devices. - Collaborate with designers and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs. - Work with Git-based version control and follow development best practices. - Stay up to date with Shopify platform updates and emerging e-commerce trends. ## Qualifications - 2–4 years of experience in Shopify development. - Strong proficiency in **Shopify Liquid** templating language. - Solid knowledge of **HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+)**, and responsive web development. - Experience converting **Figma** or **Adobe XD** designs into Shopify themes. - Strong understanding of **Shopify theme architecture** and **Online Store 2.0**. - Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, metafields, and custom app integrations. - Knowledge of **Git** and version control workflows. - Understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, and website performance optimization. - Ability to debug and troubleshoot frontend issues efficiently. - Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. - Ability to work under tight timelines while delivering high-quality solutions. ## Preferred Skills - Experience with **Shopify Plus**. - Knowledge of **React** or **Next.js** is a plus. - Experience integrating **GA4**, **Meta Pixel**, **Google Tag Manager**, and other analytics tools. - Familiarity with subscription, loyalty, reviews, and personalization apps. - Understanding of **CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)** principles for e-commerce. - Experience working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment. ## Experience - 2–4 years of experience in Shopify development. ## Environment *(Work setting or location details are not specified.)* ## Salary *(Salary details are not specified.)* ## Growth Opportunities *(Advancement opportunities within the company are not specified.)* ## Benefits *(Benefits offered are not specified.)* ## Portfolio Requirement Applicants should provide: - Shopify store URLs they have developed or significantly contributed to. - GitHub profile (if available). - Brief description of their role in each project. - Any custom apps or integrations.
