Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEO Intern to join our Marketing team. The intern will assist in improving website visibility, keyword research, on-page optimization, content optimization, and analyzing website performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the digital marketing field.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and identify opportunities for ranking improvement.
- Assist in on-page SEO activities such as meta title, meta description, header optimization, and keyword placement.
- Optimize website content for SEO and user experience.
- Perform website audits to identify technical issues.
- Help in link-building activities (backlinks, directory submissions, guest posts, etc.).
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Search Console & Google Analytics.
- Support content team in creating SEO-friendly blog posts/articles.
- Track keyword rankings and prepare weekly SEO reports.
- Analyze competitor websites for SEO insights.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm updates.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or related field.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts (on-page, off-page, technical).
- Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar (added advantage).
- Good written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
