SEO Executive

About the Role:

This role focuses on enhancing our website’s search engine performance, optimizing content for visibility, and contributing to our inbound marketing efforts. As an SEO Executive, you will be responsible for implementing effective SEO strategies, analyzing website performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to ensure our brand ranks competitively for relevant keywords and reaches the right audience. Ideally, these qualities describe you: On-Page SEO (30%) Conduct keyword research to guide content strategy and website optimization. Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for target keywords. Ensure content is search-engine friendly and aligned with brand tone. Improve site structure, internal linking, and page speed for better ranking. Off-Page SEO (40%) Plan and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority. Build relationships with relevant websites and communities for guest posting and backlinks. Manage directory submissions, social bookmarking, and outreach campaigns. Technical SEO (20%) Identify and fix technical issues that affect crawlability, indexing, and site performance. Conduct regular SEO audits and monitor Google Search Console reports. Collaborate with the development team to implement SEO best practices. Analytics & Reporting (10%) Track keyword rankings, traffic, and user engagement metrics using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush. Prepare and present monthly SEO performance reports. Recommend improvements based on insights and data.

Requirements

6 months to 1 year of hands-on

experience

in SEO (preferably in a B2B or IT domain). Strong understanding of SEO principles, Google algorithms, and ranking factors. Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz. Basic understanding of content marketing, keyword strategy, and technical optimization. Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
