Solar Inverters, BESS, and Industrial Drives

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Deep knowledge of

DC-AC and DC-DC power conversion systems

and inverter topologies for

industrial high-power applications at the MW level

, including

solar inverters

and

Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

.

• Strong understanding of

high-power semiconductor devices

,

DC-link capacitors

,

sensors

,

gate drivers

, and power electronics

protection schemes

.

• Proficient in simulation and design tools, including

PLECS

,

MATLAB/Simulink

,

SPICE

,

Ansys

and other FEA tools, as well as

SolidWorks

,

AutoCAD

, and schematic/PCB design software.

• Experienced in

thermal modelling, thermal testing, and cooling system design

for high-power electronic systems.

• Expertise in the design and development of

customised subassemblies

and collaboration with suppliers for components such as

busbars, heatsinks, and PCBAs

.

• Skilled in

design verification, testing, and performance validation

to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering; Master's degree in Power Electronics preferred.
• 10-12 years of experience in high-power electronics product development, validation, and manufacturing.
• Strong expertise in power conversion systems, inverter topologies, thermal management, and power electronics design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, and dynamic engineering environment.
