Job Title: Senior Software Engineer
Work Location: Bangalore
Shift timings: 12.00pm to 9.00pm IST
Work mode: Hybrid - 3 Days office
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using
C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET Core, and Angular
.
RESTful APIs
and microservices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, scalability, and maintainability standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, and automated tests.
- Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps initiatives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
- Estimate development effort, identify technical dependencies, and contribute to realistic delivery planning.
- Proactively communicate risks, issues, delays, and recommended mitigation actions to relevant stakeholders.
- Engage with stakeholders at different organisational levels to clarify expectations, align on priorities, and support predictable delivery.
- Take ownership for assigned work from analysis through delivery, including follow-up on quality, maintainability, and business value.
- 5 to 8 years of experience developing software using .NET framework
- Experience with Angular and related front-end technologies.
- Proficient in C#, .NET, WPF/XAML, Web APIs, LINQ, Entity Framework, SQL.
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and web services.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Experience working with CI/CD, DevOps practices, automated testing, and secure software development principles is beneficial.
- Ability to balance technical quality with delivery commitments in a business-critical environment.
- Proficiency in English (both verbal and written) is essential for effective communication with team members and international stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
