Title and Summary

Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development skills and a quality-first mindset, contributing across the full software development lifecycle including development, automated testing, integration testing, deployment, and production support.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Implement secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and related technologies.
• Participate in system design, architecture reviews, and technical discussions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  DevOps & Automation
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Improve build, deployment, and testing processes through automation.
• Monitor application performance and participate in operational support.
  Quality Engineering
• Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and API tests.
• Build and maintain automated test suites to improve product quality and release confidence.
• Create test scenarios, test data, and validation strategies based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
• Support performance, deployment verification, and release testing activities.
  Collaboration & Leadership
• Work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in development and testing processes.
  Required Skills
• 7+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, and Microservices.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, TestNG, REST Assured, Postman, or similar testing frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Experience API Automation, or test automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Understanding of performance and security testing concepts.
