Job Overview:

At KC Overseas Education, SEO is no longer just about ranking on Google. We are looking for a Senior SEO Associate who wants to shape how KC is discovered across Google, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and the next generation of AI-powered search.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of SEO, AEO, GEO, AI and data, where your ideas can directly influence organic visibility, qualified traffic and leads. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with new search strategies, leverage AI to work smarter, solve real SEO challenges and turn insights into measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Technical SEO
• Plan and execute SEO strategies to improve organic traffic, rankings, search visibility and leads.
• Conduct SEO audits, keyword research, search intent, competitor and content gap analysis.
• Manage Technical SEO, including crawlability, indexing, site architecture, site speed and mobile performance.
• Implement and monitor On-Page, Technical, Off-Page and Local SEO activities.
• Identify SEO issues and work with relevant teams to implement and validate improvements.

2. AEO, GEO & AI Search

• Develop and implement AEO, GEO and AI Search strategies to improve visibility across Google AI Overviews and AI/LLM platforms, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity, Claude, DeepSeek and other emerging platforms.
• Optimize content for AI-generated answers, Featured Snippets, People Also Ask and conversational search.
• Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity for keyword clustering, content planning, SEO research and process automation while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Monitor Google algorithm updates, search behavior and emerging AI search trends to identify new SEO opportunities.

3. Content, Collaboration & Authority Building

• Work with Content, Design, Development and Marketing teams to develop and optimize website pages, blogs and other SEO assets.
• Develop and optimize internal linking and content structures to strengthen website visibility and topical relevance.
• Execute white-hat link-building and outreach strategies, including digital PR, guest posting and unlinked brand mention opportunities.
• Analyse competitor backlink profiles and identify relevant authority-building opportunities.

4. SEO Analytics & Reporting

• Monitor organic traffic, rankings, clicks, impressions, CTR, conversions and leads using SEO and analytics tools.
• Prepare regular SEO performance reports and actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Analyse performance trends and identify opportunities for improving traffic, visibility and organic lead generation.

5. Continuous Optimization & Growth

• Continuously test, evaluate and improve SEO initiatives based on data, search intent, user behavior and industry trends.
• Take ownership of assigned SEO projects from analysis and implementation to performance tracking and optimization.

Key Skills

• Strong knowledge of Technical, On-Page, Off-Page, Content SEO, AEO and GEO.
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Keyword Planner.
• Experience with SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Similarweb or similar platforms.
• Proven experience improving website/content visibility across AI search platforms and LLMs.
• Working knowledge of CMS platforms, preferably WordPress and Shopify.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Schema Markup.
• Understanding of performance marketing, conversions and user acquisition.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, reporting and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving SEO and AI search trends.

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience.
• Strong knowledge of Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, AEO & GEO.
• Experience with SEO, Analytics & AI Search tools.
