The Role
Quality is not something we inspect at the end of a release; it's something we build into every stage of engineering. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for elevating product quality through intelligent test strategies, automation, continuous validation, performance engineering, and close partnership with engineering and product teams. You'll help teams identify risks early, find defects quickly, and ensure every release meets high standards for functionality, performance, security, and reliability. What You’ll Do
Quality Strategy & Risk-Based Testing
- Lead quality planning and risk assessment activities across product initiatives and releases.
- Analyze code changes, feature implementations, and architectural impacts to determine optimal test coverage and identify high-risk areas before defects reach customers.
- Drive a shift-left quality culture by partnering with engineering teams to prevent defects early in the software development lifecycle.
Test Automation Excellence
- Build and evolve scalable automation frameworks that improve test coverage, execution speed, and maintainability.
- Drive automation across UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing layers.
- Continuously optimize automated validation to reduce manual effort and accelerate release confidence.
- Expert knowledge in Playwright tool
CI/CD & Continuous Quality Engineering
- Own quality gates within CI/CD pipelines to provide fast, actionable feedback on every change.
- Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing, code quality checks, and release validation into deployment workflows.
- Drive improvements that reduce production defects, improve deployment confidence, and shorten feedback cycles.
Performance Engineering & Reliability
- Lead performance testing initiatives to validate scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of applications under varying workloads.
- Build performance benchmarks and proactively identify bottlenecks before they impact customers.
- Partner with engineering teams to improve application resilience, capacity planning, and operational readiness.
- Knowledge in performance testing tools such as K6, JMeter or similar platforms.
Security & Secure Development Reviews
- Drive quality reviews focused on security, vulnerability prevention, and secure coding practices.
- Partner with development teams to identify potential security gaps through code reviews, automated scanning, and risk assessments.
- Ensure security validation becomes an integral part of the software delivery lifecycle rather than a release-stage activity.
AI-Driven Quality Innovation
- Evaluate and adopt AI-powered solutions that improve test creation, defect detection, root cause analysis, and engineering productivity.
- Experiment with emerging AI technologies to modernize quality engineering practices.
- Champion innovative approaches that improve quality outcomes while reducing engineering effort.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, DevOps, Security, and global stakeholders to deliver high-quality customer outcomes.
- Drive resolution of complex quality challenges with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability.
- Influence technical decisions through collaboration, data-driven insights, and a continuous improvement mindset.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Quality Assurance within modern Agile development environments.
- Proven ability to quickly identify product risks, uncover defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive issues to resolution.
- Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks and programming/scripting languages used for test automation.
- Experience integrating automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze source code changes, pull requests, and feature implementations to determine effective test coverage and risk areas.
- Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and tools used to validate scalability and reliability.
- Experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
- A proactive, execution-oriented mindset with strong ownership, urgency, and a passion for continuously improving quality

- Experience applying AI/GenAI technologies to software testing, quality engineering, or developer productivity.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native application architectures.
- Experience with security testing, vulnerability management, and secure software development practices.
- Experience leading quality transformation initiatives, mentoring engineers, or driving enterprise-scale quality programs.
- Experience with modern observability, monitoring, and reliability engineering platforms such as Coralogix, Grafana, Datadog or similar tools
