About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Python Developer to design, develop, and scale modern backend systems using Python, FastAPI, and Microservices architecture.

This role is ideal for engineers who have worked on production-grade applications, understand distributed systems, and can take ownership of backend services from design through deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
• Build and maintain Microservices-based applications
• Develop secure, high-performance REST APIs
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Required Skills

• Minimum 6 years of professional Python development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI
• Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL databases
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows
• Strong understanding of software design principles and backend architecture
• Experience working with Linux environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS cloud services
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or event-driven architectures
• Experience building highly scalable production systems
• Fintech, Payments, Banking, Trading, or Crypto domain experience is a strong plus
