Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on
Senior Platform Engineer
to design, build, and support our cloud-native commerce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in
AWS, Kubernetes or Amazon EKS, Microservices, DevOps, Automation, and SDLC practices
, along with programming experience in
Java or Python
.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native platforms on AWS.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based microservices infrastructure.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Helm, and Groovy.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform.
- Lead cloud migration, platform modernization, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Implement security controls using Okta, Keycloak, OAuth, and cloud security best practices.
- Develop automation tools and scripts using Java and/or Python.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams throughout the SDLC.
- Build monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions for platform and application services.
- Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis across the application and infrastructure stack.
