Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to strengthen software reliability by leading quality efforts and scaling automation. You will guide testers, build and run automated checks across the UI and APIs, and help evolve the test automation framework.

• Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing day-to-day direction and support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and interpret system requirements
• Create detailed test plans, test cases and test strategies
• Coordinate and prioritize testing tasks to ensure broad and efficient coverage
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using advanced automation tools
• Identify, report and track defects through validation and resolution
• Define and enforce quality standards and ensure alignment with best practices
• Monitor and analyze QA metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Stay current with emerging testing tools, technologies and best practices
• Contribute insights during QA meetings and support key testing activities

• Extensive experience in Automation Testing with a focus on JavaScript (6–9 years)
• Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript with 4–6 years of hands-on practice
• Relevant leadership experience of 1+ year in guiding testing work
• Proficiency with UI Automation tools such as Playwright, Mocha and Chai
• Familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer and Cypress
• Hands-on experience in Web Service and API Test Automation, including test cases and test automation frameworks
• Working understanding of Webdriver I/O for UI testing
• B2+ English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate)
