Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

, the

Senior Financial Compensation Analyst

serves as the primary liaison between Finance and Human Resources, leading workforce analytics, compensation reporting, and position management processes that support strategic workforce planning and informed decision-making. The role ensures the integrity and quality of workforce and financial information used to support operational and strategic decision-making across the institution.

The position provides workforce and compensation analysis, insights, and recommendations to support labour cost management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and institutional decision-making. The incumbent plays a key role in assessing and implementing changes arising from legislative requirements, collective bargaining agreements, compensation programs, and position management practices. By leveraging technology, automation, data governance, and industry best practices, the role drives modernization and continuous improvement of workforce reporting and analytics.

Success in this role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the institution, and contribute to SAIT's innovation and transformation objectives.
