Senior Engineer - Software Test

• In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Plan and execute functional, non-functional, integration, and security testing activities for cloud-based software applications.
• Validate device-to-cloud communication, data integrity, scalability, reliability, and security across distributed IoT ecosystems.
• Review and analyze product requirements and technical design documentation to identify testing scope and quality risks.
• Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements and risk analysis.
• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Execute manual and automated test cases, evaluate results, and communicate quality status to key stakeholders.
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain test documentation, metrics, reports, and release readiness assessments.
• Participate in automation code reviews and contribute to best practices that improve test maintainability and effectiveness.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, product owners, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful product delivery.
• Drive continuous improvements in testing methodologies, tools, processes, and quality standards.Work effectively with local and remote teams across multiple geographic locations and time zones.

• For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in software testing with strong hands-on automation testing experience.
• Experience testing web-based applications across functional and non-functional domains.
• Ability to develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and quality reporting processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Working knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java or C#.
• Knowledge of IoT communication technologies and protocols, including OPC UA, Modbus, and TCP.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile project tracking, defect management, and test management.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman and REST Assured.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Understanding of containerization technologies and concepts.Relevant professional experience in software testing, automation, and quality engineering.

• Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience with cybersecurity-focused software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and secure testing techniques.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards.
• Hands-on experience testing cloud-based digital twin applications.
• Exposure to industrial automation systems, Industrial IoT environments, or connected device ecosystems.Experience working within globally distributed Agile development teams.
