Senior Engineer-HVAC(MEP)

We are seeking a Senior Engineer-HVAC(MEP) to join our Building Engineering team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful B+P projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team

• Here is what you will do: - Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings

• Prepares technical specification sections

• Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements

• Leads HVAC system design for complex commercial, residential, and data center projects

• Conducts energy modeling and analysis to optimize HVAC system performance

• Collaborates with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions

• Develops and implements sustainable design strategies to meet energy efficiency goals

• Oversees the selection and sizing of HVAC equipment and components

• Ensures compliance with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and other relevant regulations

• Mentors junior engineers and provides technical guidance to the HVAC design team

• Participates in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions

• Conducts site visits to assess existing conditions and verify installation of HVAC systems
  The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications:

• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. 

• Relevant 6 to 8 years of experience. Experience in retail and hospitality medium to large projects.

• Should be well versed with ASHRAE/CIBSE/NFPA standards and regulations.

• Should have experience in commercial, residential, datacenter, and infrastructure projects from different geographies - USA, Canada, ANZ Region.

• Experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer - Specialized in HVAC Design.

• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.

• Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar BIM tools.

• Strong knowledge of energy modeling software (e.g., eQUEST, EnergyPlus, or IES-VE).
