About the Role

We're looking for a

Senior Data Engineer

to design and build scalable, cloud-native data platforms that power analytics, reporting, and machine learning. You'll work closely with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams to create reliable data solutions that support business-critical decisions.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python.
• Develop and manage workflows with Apache Airflow or Google Cloud Composer.
• Improve data quality, pipeline reliability, and overall platform performance.
• Design efficient data models and cloud-native architectures.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams to deliver trusted data products.
• Automate deployments and improve CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows.

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and/or Google Cloud Composer.
• Experience building and maintaining production-scale data pipelines.
• Good understanding of GCP, ETL/ELT, data modeling, workflow orchestration, and monitoring.
• Experience designing reliable, scalable, and maintainable data platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Candidates who can join immediately or within 15 days will be highly preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience with BigQuery, dbt, or Dagster.
• Familiarity with Kafka or event-driven architectures.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform.
• Exposure to MLOps or machine learning data pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance and metadata management.
• Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineering teams.
