Senior Data Engineer

R Systems is looking for a talented Data Engineer with a strong background in cloud-based data solutions. The successful candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and data warehousing solutions. This role focuses on leveraging Azure Data Factory and Snowflake to support our data strategy and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory to facilitate data integration from various sources. You will build and manage Snowflake data warehouses, ensuring data is stored efficiently and is accessible for analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide data solutions that meet business needs, while optimizing data processing workflows for performance and cost efficiency. Additionally, you will monitor data quality, document architectures, and stay current with industry trends.

• Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in data engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in Azure Data Factory for data pipeline development and orchestration.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and SQL querying.
• Proficiency in data transformation and ETL processes.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools.
• Experience with cloud security protocols.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automation.
