Your Work Profile

Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Core/Advanced Java, Spring Boot microservices, and event-driven messaging (Solace PubSub+). You’ll design, build, deploy, and operate high-throughput, resilient services in a regulated financial services environment.

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Cloud Stream
• Build and maintain event-driven messaging pipelines using Solace PubSub+ (topics, queues, guaranteed delivery, replay)
• Implement and own RESTful APIs; contribute to API design standards and documentation
• Apply secure coding practices across the SDLC (OWASP Top 10, input validation, secrets management, least privilege)
• Write high-quality, testable code with strong unit/integration coverage (JUnit 5, Mockito, Cucumber/BDD)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitHub, Jenkins, and Ansible
• Use developer productivity tooling effectively (including Copilot)
• Package and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes
• Operate and monitor production services using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki and related observability tooling
• Work with PostgreSQL (schema contributions, query optimisation, migrations via Flyway/Liquibase)
• Participate in code reviews and incident response; drive continuous improvement

Required skills & experience

• Education- BE/BTech/MCA

• Experience: 7+ years Java development; 4+ years running Spring Boot microservices in production

• Java: Java 11/17/21, concurrency, memory model; clean code, SOLID, design patterns; performance profiling (heap/thread dumps)
• Spring: Spring Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security; Spring Cloud (Config, Gateway, Eureka/Consul, Resilience4j); Stream/Function
• APIs: REST principles, versioning; OpenAPI/Swagger; API security (OAuth2, JWT)
• Security: OWASP awareness; dependency vulnerability management; secrets management (Vault/Jasypt or equivalent)
• Testing: BDD with Cucumber (Gherkin, step definitions, runners); integration with Spring test context
• Messaging: Solace topics/queues, durable subscriptions, replay; error handling (DLQ/error queues, ACK modes)
• DevOps: Git workflows/PRs; Jenkins pipeline-as-code; Ansible playbooks; Docker best practices; Kubernetes deployments and probes
• Observability: dashboards/alerts (Grafana), metrics (Prometheus/PromQL), logs (Loki/LogQL); tracing (Zipkin/Sleuth/OpenTelemetry)
