We are looking for a

Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (Backend Focus)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions with Ruby on Rails.
• Solve complex technical challenges related to performance, concurrency, and distributed architecture.
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor other team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Frontend, DevOps) in an Agile environment.
• Participate in architectural decisions and support the migration of infrastructure to AWS.
• Contribute to improving scalability, reliability, and performance of the platform.

Requirements

• Proven experience with

Ruby on Rails in main projects in recent years

(not side projects).

• Strong track record building and scaling

large, complex products

(high concurrency, millions of users, critical integrations).

• Expertise in

performance optimization, architecture design, and scalability

.

• Experience leading projects or technical teams in

e-commerce, marketplaces, or large-scale digital platforms

.

• General frontend knowledge (React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Advanced English (C1 or higher, mandatory): you will work closely with international stakeholders.

• Current residence in Argentina (mandatory).
