Senior Axiom Developer

Project description

Client is a D-sib bank of Australia and uses Axiom as strategic platform for regulatory reporting across Asia, Europe, and USA. Currently, they are in the process of transforming their regulatory reporting data warehouse, leading to changes in Axiom Controller View. The team will be responsible for managing this change along with any regulatory changes driven by regulators.

Responsibilities

• 1. Axiom Development a) Design, develop, and enhance regulatory reporting solutions using AxiomSL ControllerView (v10+). b) Configure and maintain key Axiom components, including Data Dictionaries, Data Models, Aggregations, Portfolio rules, Workflow pipelines, Report templates, and validations. c) Optimize Axiom configurations for performance, scalability, and maintainability. 2. APRA Regulatory Reporting a) Manage the changes in APRA regulatory reports driven by clients' internal changes or by regulatory initiatives. 3. Regulatory Taxonomy & Data Mapping a) Work with APRA taxonomy frameworks and regulatory data models. b) Map source system data to APRA taxonomy structures and regulatory templates. c) Maintain and update taxonomy mappings as regulatory requirements evolve. d) Ensure data lineage, traceability, and reconciliation across reporting layers. 4. Data Integration & Transformation a) Build and manage data ingestion pipelines. b) Perform data transformations and reconciliations to ensure regulatory accuracy. 5. Testing & Release Management a) Support SIT, UAT, and production releases for regulatory reporting solutions. b) Perform data validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution. c) Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting cycles and delivery timelines.

SKILLS

Must have

• a) 5+ years of experience in AxiomSL development b) Strong expertise in Axiom ControllerView platform and associated objects c) Good experience with Taxonomy d) Strong SQL and database skills e) Experience with Unix/Linux scripting (Shell/Python) f) Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M

Nice to have

a) Prior experience in APRA b) Exposure to cloud or modern data platforms is an advantage
