As an SBA Business Development Officer, you'll build meaningful client relationships, develop SBA 7(a) lending opportunities, and deliver financing solutions that support local businesses and communities. ### In this role you'll
Develop and manage relationships with new and existing small to mid-size business clients.
Actively market and originate SBA 7(a) lending opportunities.
Identify and develop new business relationships to grow your portfolio.
Prepare and present credit analyses and lending recommendations.
Structure, underwrite, and negotiate loan terms and conditions within delegated authority.
Perform credit reviews to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage loan portfolio performance through reviews and analysis.
Represent the bank through community involvement and networking activities to increase awareness of our products and services.
Operate independently while managing lending opportunities and client relationships across assigned markets.
You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
You have 4 or more years of experience in commercial credit and business development, including SBA lending (Required).
You have a proven ability to develop and manage business relationships with small to mid-size companies.
Bring strong knowledge of SBA 7(a) lending products, regulations, underwriting, and loan structuring.
Demonstrate exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Communicate effectively through both written and verbal channels.
You are comfortable presenting recommendations and influencing decisions.
You have strong negotiation skills and the ability to build trust with clients and business partners.
Possess a solid understanding of banking products and services.
You are self-motivated and able to work successfully with minimal direction.

Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $98,035 - $110,000
Robust uncapped quarterly incentive plan
