Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced

RTDS Operations Support Senior Engineer

to perform advanced real-time drilling analysis and optimization to improve operational performance and reduce drilling risks. The role provides technical guidance on complex drilling challenges, develops data-driven recommendations, and supports well operations through detailed analysis of drilling parameters and performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced drilling optimization recommendations based on real-time data and performance analysis.
• Conduct post-well, offset-well, and drilling performance analysis.
• Perform surveillance and provide technical support for complex well operations.
• Analyze drilling parameters and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Apply Torque & Drag, hydraulics, ECD, surge & swab, MSE, BHA, and wellbore stability analysis.
• Support kick detection, well control, lost circulation, drilling vibration, and directional drilling optimization activities.
• Support casing design, offset well analysis, and Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) activities.
• Develop technical reports and present optimization recommendations to customers and operational teams.
• Support customer technical reviews and facilitate lessons-learned sessions.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Maintain compliance with company HSE, Quality, Operational Excellence, and technical standards.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in drilling analysis, workflows, and service quality.

Skills

• Advanced knowledge of

Torque & Drag, Hydraulics, ECD, Surge & Swab, MSE, BHA performance

, and drilling optimization.

• Understanding of wellbore stability, directional drilling, kick detection, well control, lost circulation, and drilling vibrations.
• Experience with

CENTRO, DecisionSpace Well Engineering, Landmark EDM, WellView/OpenWells

, RTDS platforms, and drilling simulation/data management tools.

• Strong

Excel, Power BI, data analytics, trend analysis

, and reporting skills.

• Knowledge of database management, report automation, and workflow tools.
• Strong technical report writing, root cause analysis, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, drilling teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in

Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering

, or a related engineering discipline.

5–8 years

of experience in drilling engineering, drilling optimization, well planning, or RTDS operations.

• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Experience supporting real-time drilling operations and complex well analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical recommendations and mentor junior engineers.

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in drilling engineering, drilling optimization, well planning, or RTDS operations.
• Master's degree is an advantage.
• Experience supporting real-time drilling operations and complex well analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical recommendations and mentor junior engineers.
