Job Title: REXX Developer (z/OS)

• Experience: 5+ Years

• Location: Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai

Remote (US Timing) - IST 6.30 pm to 2 pm

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced

REXX Developer

with a minimum of

5 years of hands-on experience

in developing and maintaining REXX applications in IBM Mainframe environments. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in

Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules

,

z/OS

,

DB2

, and

SQL

.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using

REXX

on IBM Mainframe.

• Design and support

Broadcom OPS/MVS automation rules

for system automation and monitoring.

• Work with

z/OS

system components and troubleshoot production issues.

• Develop and optimize

DB2 SQL

queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure system stability.
• Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with

JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and IBM Utilities

.

• Knowledge of Mainframe scheduling tools such as

CA-7

or

Control-M

.

• Familiarity with Mainframe source code management tools (e.g.,

Endevor

or

Changeman

).

• Experience working in Agile environments.

Requirements

Required Skills

• Minimum

5 years of experience

in

REXX programming

.

• Strong knowledge of

Broadcom OPS/MVS

rule development and automation.

• Good understanding of

IBM z/OS

operating system.

• Hands-on experience with

DB2

database development.

• Strong proficiency in

SQL

.

• Experience in debugging and resolving production issues in Mainframe environments.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
