Genpact Experience (formerly Rightpoint) is seeking a senior delivery and engineering leader to drive outcomes across its Technology Practices. This role will lead end-to-end delivery across Digital Experience Platforms, cloud-native and mobile experiences, and Modern Workplace solutions, while accelerating the adoption of AI-assisted engineering and agentic workflows across the software lifecycle. The leader will partner with client executives and cross-functional Genpact teams to deliver measurable business impact—faster time-to-value, higher quality, improved productivity, and scalable engineering operating models.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain React Native features for iOS and Android based on user stories, designs and acceptance criteria.
- Build reusable functional components, screens and hooks using clean, readable JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party SDKs, including authentication, analytics, push notifications and deep links.
- Use React Navigation and an agreed state-management approach to implement predictable application flows.
- Write unit tests, perform developer testing under normal and edge conditions, and address defects identified during review or QA.
- Debug common application, device and platform issues using React Native, Android Studio and Xcode tooling.
- Participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, estimation discussions and technical documentation.
- Communicate blockers early, ask focused questions and deliver assigned work within agreed estimates.
- Apply secure coding, accessibility, performance and source-control practices appropriate to mobile delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
React Native Development
- 1-2 years of progressive software development experience, including practical React Native delivery.
- Solid JavaScript fundamentals and working knowledge of TypeScript.
- Experience with React Native components, hooks, lifecycle behaviour, styling, forms and platform-specific code.
- Working knowledge of React Navigation and state management such as Context API, Redux or Redux Toolkit.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs, handling JSON, asynchronous operations and application errors.
Mobile Platforms & Quality
- Basic understanding of iOS and Android application structure, permissions, configuration and build variants.
- Hands-on troubleshooting with Android Studio, Xcode, device logs and React Native debugging tools.
- Ability to write maintainable code and unit tests using Jest and React Native Testing Library or comparable tools.
- Awareness of performance, mobile accessibility, secure storage and common mobile security considerations.
Delivery & Collaboration
- Working knowledge of Git, pull requests, branching and Agile delivery practices.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal direction while knowing when to seek help.
- Clear written and verbal communication and confidence interacting with technical team members and client stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Expo and Expo Application Services (EAS).
- Exposure to native modules or basic Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin or Java.
- Experience with Firebase services, push notifications, deep linking or analytics.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and mobile build automation.
- Awareness of app signing and Apple App Store or Google Play release processes.
