Rail Data Processing Assistant

Job Summary
Hallcon provides mission critical, employee transportation services to the largest railroad operators in North America. While providing these services numerous different data points are captured by our systems. This data is then used for multiple purposes including customer billings, vendor payments and operational reports and statistics.We are seeking an individual who will be tasked to audit driver trip and/or shift activity to ensure proper payroll and billing.  Auditing trips will require an individual with exceptional attention to detail and who is comfortable with working on a computer.  The individual should be well spoken and articulate, able to work quickly and can identify errors and multitask.
 
Job Description
Key Role and Responsibilities

Review trip or yard activity to ensure proper payroll and billing.
Work with customer interface to ensure all billable trips or shifts are invoiced successfully.
Review terminated employees to ensure all trips are audited to meet state payroll guidelines.
Monitor production to ensure deadlines and workflow requirements will be achieved to meet payroll and billing deadlines.
Respond to and resolve driver questions regarding payroll issues.

 
Qualifications, Experience and Education Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; 6 months to year experience in accounting; data processing experience preferred.
Strong Administrative and computer skills with attention to details.
Proficient in Excel.
Excellent typing and 10-Key skills.
Good communication skills and ability to clearly and concisely respond to questions and inquiries.
