Quote Team Lead

• Communicate and coordinate with Managers, Team Leads and Coordinators in other regional Quote Centers to ensure proper global coverage and timely customer responses.

• Act as a Staff resource on processes and procedures and assist Quote personnel as needed. 

• Identify and define specific training needs and/or process improvements for management review. 

• Assist in the development- and implementation of new strategies and process improvements.

• Communicate and coordinate with Sales, Products, and suppliers.

• Maintain and verify work instructions related to working quotes with specific suppliers.

• Track related statistics and measures to report, regularly, to management.

• A subject matter expert for all Mouser quoting processes.

• Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices.

• Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full-time employees or their equivalent.  Makes suggestions and recommendation for these employees regarding performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.

• Exhibits working knowledge of sales and purchasing. 

• Understands profit margins, markups, and competitive pricing strategies. 

• Proficient PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, Internet, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other software 

• Excellent at written and clear verbal communication on the telephone, email or in person 

• Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization. 

• Experience managing a team is desired.

• Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
