Quality Engineer


Project Role Description :

Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:


As a Quality Engineer, your day involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive solutions that enhance the software delivery process. You engage in continuous testing activities that span security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. Your role includes developing automation strategies and scripts, managing data and environment configurations, and actively participating in code reviews. You also monitor and report defects, contributing to ongoing improvements in the testing lifecycle to ensure the highest quality standards are met throughout the application development journey.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
  • Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and adopt new testing tools and methodologies to optimize quality assurance efforts.

Professional & Technical Skills:


  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
  • Experience in designing and implementing automated test scripts for web applications.
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues within automated testing environments.
  • Familiarity with API testing and security testing concepts.
  • Skilled in collaborating with development teams to improve code quality through effective testing strategies.

Additional Information:


  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Playwright.

- This position is based at our BDC6F - SEZ location.
