Quality Assurance Engineer

• Essential Skillset:

• Hands-on experience in test automation using

Selenium

and/or

Playwright

• Strong working knowledge of

Java

and/or

TypeScript

• Proven experience in

API automation testing

using

Rest Assured

and/or

Playwright

• Familiarity with automation script development using

Eclipse

and/or

Visual Studio Code

• Practical exposure to

GitLab

and/or

GitHub

, along with

CI/CD pipeline integration

• Good understanding of software testing processes, test design techniques, and defect lifecycle
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

• Roles and Responsibilites:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium/Playwright.
• Perform requirement analysis, test planning, scripting, and execution.
• Ensure software quality through QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks in Java and/or Spring Boot.
• Conduct API testing using Rest Assured and validate data in MongoDB.
• Utilize Eclipse IDE for test development and debugging.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and improve test coverage.
• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Prioritize and plan testing activities
• Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute tests
• Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
• Track defects and helps troubleshoot errors.
• Perform regression testing
