Python Developer/Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Python Developer/Engineer with strong Python and AWS experience to join our team and support a growing portfolio of cloud-based customer engagement solutions, cloud data platforms, and enterprise integrations. You will develop and enhance our Amazon Connect platform, build serverless applications, create APIs, and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native solutions that support business operations and analytics

This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone with a strong technical foundation in AWS cloud services, Python development, and system integration. You will work across customer engagement technologies, cloud platform, data platforms, and automation, collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable contact center solutions using AWS Connect.
• Integrate AWS Connect with various AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and others to ensure seamless operations.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications and APIs using AWS Lambda and Python.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and updates.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability, addressing any issues proactively.
• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance optimization of AWS Connect solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for incidents and apply fixes and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth implementation of contact center features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud services and Python development.
• Proven experience as a Python Developer with a strong focus on AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Connect and other related AWS services.
• Proficiency in serverless computing using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and AWS best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services development.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  AWS Certified Developer, or any relevant AWS certification. Candidates with certifications will be given priority consideration.
• Experience with other AWS services such as Kinesis, SNS, SQS, and Step Functions.
• Knowledge of contact center operations and related technologies.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Amazon Connect is highly desirable. Candidates with strong AWS serverless development experience and a willingness to learn Amazon Connect are encouraged to apply.

• Experience with cloud data warehouses, data lakes, or managed data integration services.
• Exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or AI-assisted software development.
