Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager - HVAC
to lead and manage end-to-end execution of large-scale HVAC and Chiller projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in
HVAC systems, Chillers, project execution, project management, stakeholder management, and commercial aspects of projects
. The role requires ensuring timely project delivery, quality compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Lead multiple HVAC and Chiller projects from initiation to commissioning and handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per contractual requirements.
- Monitor project progress and resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues.
- Conduct periodic project review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Technical Management
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC and Chiller systems.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, and project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HVAC industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to project engineers and site teams.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage client expectations, change requests, and escalation handling.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Monitor project budgets, costs, cash flow, and profitability.
- Review project variations, claims, and billing milestones.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and project closure.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site execution teams.
- Drive performance, productivity, and accountability across project teams.
- Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
EHS & Quality Compliance
- Ensure adherence to EHS standards and organizational safety policies.
- Drive quality control processes throughout project execution.
- Conduct audits and corrective actions to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- PMP/Prince2 certification will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, Chillers, Air Handling Units (AHU), Cooling Towers, Pumps, and Building Automation Systems.
Required Experience
- 12-18 years of experience in HVAC/Chiller project execution and project management.
- Proven track record of managing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, data center, or infrastructure projects.
- Hands-on experience in Chiller installation, commissioning, and lifecycle project management.
- Experience managing project teams, contractors, consultants, and customers.
