- Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct the operations of employees throughout the production department.
- Review and approve all production schedules.
- Control operating costs and capital, including maximizing operating efficiencies and production rates.
- Ensure that products are produced in accordance with quality specifications and maintain efficient production processes.
- Accomplish manufacturing employee results by effectively communicating job expectations by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Enforce all systems, policies, and procedures while coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees when deemed necessary.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all employees work safely.
- QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- BS in Business or Engineering preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing with at least 1 – 2 years managing people or projects.
- Proven knowledge and application of ERP/MRP systems.
- Proven knowledge and application of lean manufacturing concepts.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
