Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead and optimize our software licensing, SaaS vendor portfolio, and overarching GTM/RevOps technology ecosystem. In this role, you will bridge the gap between Procurement, Finance, IT, and Revenue Operations (Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success) to streamline the entire procurement lifecycle, drive strategic vendor relationships, and optimize multi-million dollar software spend.
You will serve as the strategic subject matter expert on SaaS procurement, ensuring our GTM technology stack actively supports business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic SaaS Procurement & Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing and procurement framework for all corporate software and SaaS applications. Oversee vendor discovery, evaluation, complex contract negotiations,, contract renewals, and workflows.
- GTM & RevOps Tech Stack Governance: Drive the procurement strategy for tools across the Revenue Operations ecosystem—including CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), Sales Engagement (e.g., Salesloft, Outreach), Revenue Intelligence (e.g., Clari, Gong), Data Intelligence (e.g., ZoomInfo), and Lead Routing (e.g., LeanData).
- Strategic Spend & Portfolio Optimization: Continuously evaluate usage analytics, user adoption rates, and contract terms to eliminate redundancy, right-size subscriptions, prevent shelfware, and maximize return on investment (ROI).
- High-Stakes Contract Negotiation & Vendor Management: Lead complex enterprise negotiations to secure optimal pricing, favorable commercial terms, SLAs, volume discounts, and price locks. Develop strategic relationships with key strategic SaaS vendors.
- Security, Risk & Compliance Alignment: Partner closely with IT, InfoSec, and Legal teams to ensure all SaaS vendors adhere to strict security protocols (SOC 2, GDPR, CCPA), compliance requirements, and risk frameworks prior to contract execution.
- Process Improvement & Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with executive leadership across BizOps, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT to establish transparent procurement governance, streamline approval workflows, and implement SaaS management best practices.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 8 to 15 years of progressive experience in SaaS procurement, strategic sourcing, RevOps, BizOps, or vendor management within a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
- Domain Expertise: Deep hands-on knowledge of the GTM/RevOps technology ecosystem (CRM, Revenue Intelligence, Marketing Automation, Customer Success platforms) and SaaS licensing models.
- Financial & Analytical Acumen: Proven ability to build business cases, perform complex Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and ROI analyses, and leverage analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Negotiation & Legal Skills: Strong background in commercial contract terms, redlining SLAs, data privacy terms, and enterprise software pricing models.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing executive decision-makers and cross-functional leaders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
