Procurement Lead - Andhra Pradesh & Telangana State

Procurement lead is a leadership role, who shall be responsible for sourcing & driving strategic initiatives in a select commodities with territory sourcing managers reporting across the country.

 1. Build sourcing capabilities for fruits and vegetables from farmers across the country

2. Responsible for building capabilities & executing multiple models of sourcing.

3. Strategic planning, resource deployment & monitoring

4. Drive strategic initiatives across sourcing vertical viz. market intelligence etc.

5. Manage day to day sourcing & operations for select commodities across the country

6. Build supply chain for select commodities from sourcing locations to across the country

7. Innovate & Implement pre-harvest & post-harvest engagement models with farmers

1. Education Qualification of ABM/BSc. / MSc. Agriculture or Horticulture from reputed college.

2. At least 5 years of field experience in fruits & vegetables procurement from farmers

3. Someone with crop development experience, working closely with farmers will be preferred

4. Someone with exposure to input sales also, will be preferred.

5. Someone with exposure to sourcing Pomegranate/Citrus/grapes/Apples will be preferred

1. Should have demonstrated track record of leadership & managing huge multicultural teams

2. Should be willing to continuously learn and unlearn & have entrepreneurial zeal.

3. Should be willing to be on ground, work closely with farmers & open to travel across.

4. Should be self-motivated individual with strategic bent of mind

5. Should be well networked in the agri world (Input/Output)

of ABM/BSc. / MSc. Agriculture or Horticulture from reputed college.
