Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulations and standards in the sale of medications through the vending machine. Guide the procurement and maintenance of necessary licenses for dispensing medications. Medication Selection and Inventory Management: Collaborate with the team to select appropriate over-the-counter medications for vending dispensing. Manage medication inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels, availability, and monitoring of expiration dates. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain the safety and accuracy of dispensed medications. Establish routine maintenance protocols for the vending machines. Patient Counseling: Develop resources for virtual patient counseling to accompany video consultations. Train customer support pharmacists in the effective communication of medication information. Adherence to Medication Guidelines: Monitor dispensing processes to ensure compliance with established medication guidelines. Input into the development of patient guidelines for proper medication use. Remote Customer Support: Assist in setting up a remote customer support team. Offer guidance on handling medication-related inquiries and providing pharmaceutical advice. Telepharmacy Best Practices: Collaborate with software developers to integrate telepharmacy best practices into the virtual consultation platform. Develop tools and resources for remote medication counseling. Collaboration with Healthcare Providers: Maintain communication with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings focused on patient care and medication management. Continuous

Education:

Keep abreast of the latest developments in pharmacy practice and regulations. Provide continual training to enhance the pharmaceutical knowledge of the customer support team. Patient Safety and Reporting: Establish mechanisms for reporting adverse drug reactions and other medication issues. Collaborate on initiatives to enhance patient safety in the use of the dispensing system. Training Support for Customer Support Pharmacists: Lead training initiatives for customer support pharmacists to ensure excellence in service delivery and knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines. Feedback and Improvement: Gather and analyze feedback from both staff and users to refine the medication dispensing process continually. Engage in regular system assessments and contribute to ongoing improvements.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. Valid pharmacist license. Proven
