In 2018, we began with a WhatsApp group with a simple hypothesis: people in tier-2/3 towns weren’t really using the internet meaningfully yet. We believed that if we started with local content in their own language, they’d come back every day; there was a habit and trust, that same space could naturally grow into classifieds and, eventually, something they used for almost everything.This spark became Lokal. • About the role: We are looking for a hands-on Performance Marketing professional to manage end-to-end digital marketing—from running ads and creating content ideas to tracking and optimizing performance.
  This is a high-ownership role where you will be responsible for results, not just execution. Training and guidance will be provided.

• Key Responsibilities:

• For each app you work on, you'll study the audience, the market, and the competition - then write ads that get people to download and make that first purchase.
• You decide the angle, the hook, the format, and the script - and you write it yourself.
• You'll brief designers and video editors on your concepts and follow through until the output matches your intent.
• You'll ship multiple creative variants per campaign (80-100 per week) - fast cycles, not polished ad a week.
• You run your own A/B tests, read the results, and decide what to try next.
• You track what's working in each market and make sure the creative feels native to that audience..

Requirements

Must-Have

• 1–3 years of experience in performance marketing content or growth marketing.
• Hands-on exposure to Meta Ads & Google Ads campaigns.
• Strong copywriting skills (English + regional language preferred).
• Understanding of performance metrics like CAC, ROAS, CPI, CTR.
• Experience working with creative and video teams.
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
