Primary responsibility is to facilitate the Next Gen Conference curriculum content for high school students for week. The Next Gen Conference is a career-focused set of conference centered around the AFNR career pathways. In 2026 there will be three Next Gen Conferences –
Responsibilities include but are not limited to facilitating conference curriculum in both large and small groups, providing counsel to participants, motivating students, acting as a tour group leader, introducing industry professionals, and when necessary, disciplining conference participants. Staff members will also handle administrative tasks which include but are not limited: preconference training calls, timely completion of expense reports, scheduling of their conference travel, and correspondence with national FFA staff. Staff members are required to participate in three-four days of planning and training prior to the conference. Must constantly work to improve the program and yourself as a trainer and leader
