Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
MS Project Administrator / Project Scheduler
to develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using
Microsoft Project (MS Project)
. The ideal candidate will support Project Managers by creating accurate, resource-loaded schedules, managing task dependencies, performing critical path analysis, and ensuring projects are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project (MS Project).
- Create and manage
Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
.
- Define and maintain task dependencies, predecessors, successors, and scheduling relationships.
- Perform
Critical Path Method (CPM)
analysis and identify schedule risks.
- Establish project baselines and monitor schedule performance.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and overall progress.
- Perform resource planning, allocation, and resource leveling.
- Analyze schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare project reports, dashboards, Gantt charts, and executive status reports.
- Monitor project KPIs and schedule performance metrics.
- Maintain project documentation, scheduling records, and change logs.
- Support project risk assessments and change impact analysis.
- Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide scheduling insights.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft Project (MS Project)

- Excellent understanding of

Experience managing:

Knowledge of

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office 365.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
- Integrated project schedule development and maintenance.
- Schedule base-lining, progress tracking, forecasting, and schedule recovery planning.
- Resource planning, capacity planning, and schedule optimization.
- Project risk management and change control.
- Preparing management reports, dashboards, and project performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
3–6 years
of experience in Project Scheduling, Project Coordination, PMO, or Project Administration.
- Proven experience using Microsoft Project for project planning and schedule management.
- Experience in
Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, IT, EPC, Infrastructure
, or similar project-based industries is preferred.
- PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Microsoft Project Certification is an added advantage.
