If you're looking for a well-established, tech-forward company full of smart people doing meaningful work, you've found the right place!The ideal candidate is early in their mobile development career but has already demonstrated sound programming fundamentals and hands-on experience with React Native. This individual will be comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, building and maintaining features across both iOS and Android from a shared codebase, and willing to pivot between front-end, integration, and debugging work based on team priorities and business needs.
Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android under the guidance of more senior mobile engineers.
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive code.
Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.
Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform-specific quirks between iOS and Android.
Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
Write and maintain basic unit and integration tests to help ensure application stability.
Communicate effectively in a remote environment, including maintaining an active on-camera presence during meetings when expected.
a bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or another programming/technology-related field from an accredited higher education institution.
Working knowledge of React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript, including React fundamentals such as components, state, props, and hooks.
Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile delivery practices.
Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and an interest in building skills across both iOS and Android.
Experience using Git for version control and consuming REST APIs.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
