Job Description
What You’ll Be Designing
Join our R&D team to lead the end-to-end mechanical design of cutting-edge robotic systems. You’ll translate complex requirements into precise, manufacturable designs, working from concept to prototype to production-ready hardware.
Your Mission Includes
- Designing and developing mechanical sub-systems for robotic platforms
- Creating detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings
- Conducting design reviews, FEA analysis, and tolerance studies
- Collaborating with electrical and firmware teams for seamless integration
- Driving DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFA (Design for Assembly) principles
- Managing BOM accuracy and revision control
Requirements
What You Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (1-3 years of relevant experience preferred)
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 (preferred) - assemblies and drawings
- Understanding of manufacturing processes: sheet metal, CNC machining, injection moulding
- Experience with GD&T and engineering drawing standards
- Ability to work hands-on with prototypes and iterate quickly
Tools & Technologies
- SolidWorks, Fusion 360 (preferred), AutoCAD
- FEA tools: ANSYS / SolidWorks Simulation
- 3D Printers, CNC Machines, basic workshop tooling
- PDM / PLM systems for document and version control
