Manager Proposals

Role Summary

The Manager of Proposals owns day‑to‑day execution and performance of the proposal team. This role ensures proposals are delivered on time, at high quality, and aligned to sales priorities while coaching and developing proposal professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Execution & Performance

• Own proposal workload, prioritization, and SLA performance.
• Ensure consistent application of proposal processes and standards.
• Act as escalation point for execution issues.

2. People Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop proposal team members.
• Set goals, performance expectations, and development plans.

3. Process Management

• Enforce standardized workflows and quality standards.
• Support implementation of process improvements.

4. Cross‑Functional Partnership

• Partner with Sales leadership on pipeline support and prioritization.
• Communicate capacity, risks, and performance to leadership.

Qualifications

Required

• 6+ years of proposal or sales operations experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience.
